Scrappy Puppy began as a collection of leftover yarn, small amounts of color left over from other projects, each too little on its own to finish a doll. Rather than let them go to waste, our artisans wove them together, row by vibrant row, into one bright, boldly colored puppy. His perky mismatched ears, round sturdy body, and little dangling tail are shaped stitch by stitch, turning scraps of thread into a companion bursting with personality.

Each Scrappy Puppy is hand-crocheted by artisans in Uganda, carrying forward a tradition of craft, patience, and resourcefulness passed down through generations.
