Our Story
Established in July 2025 by founder and lead designer Christine Wandia Gitao, C.W Couture is an artisan brand operating out of Nairobi, Kenya. Driven by a vision to provide modern women and men with original, stylish, and functional pieces, the brand initially launched with signature safari and African-themed sling bags, tote bags, and bucket hats.
In November 2025, C.W Couture expanded its offerings to include a distinctive clothing line. This collection beautifully blends traditional African textiles such as Ankara, Kishutu, and Kikoy with the finest locally available cottons, canvases, and breathable fabrics. Operating on a small-batch, sustainable model, the brand's product catalog features unisex safari sling bags, Ankara-appliqué t-shirts, bucket hats, recycled multi-purpose pouches, and hooded safari jackets. C.W Couture prides itself on consistent supply, ethical material disclosure, and creating versatile fashion items designed for everyday use.
